RIELLO UPS spins faster with Ducati Corse in 2009
Riello UPS has increased its investment and support in the “Ducati Corse” team for the 2009 MotoGP World Championship
Legnago – 14th January 2009 - Riello UPS, the leading European manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies and standby power systems has increased its support for Ducati Corse in their attempt to win the 2009 Motogp World Championship title.
Riello UPS, part of the Riello Elettronica Group, has steadily increased its sponsorship of Ducati over the last two years from being a technical sponsor to this latest high profile level. For the new season, Riello UPS has ensured that its logo appears on the racing leathers worn by Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden, principally on their chests and arms. As in previous seasons the logo will also be visible on the Ducati Desmosedici bikes themselves, on the front and rear fenders.
This increased visibility will help to further expand the reach of the Riello UPS brand as Motogp events are broadcast around the world. The logo will also be visible when images from the races are used within promotional materials and on general racing merchandise such as limited edition replica bikes. Riello UPS clients can also benefit from the sponsorship arrangement in the form of corporate hospitality at races during the season and factory visits.
The essence behind the sponsorship is one of research, continuous improvement, quality and passion for excellence. Ducati and Riello UPS see the relationship as a partnership with both organisations driven by the need to be 'world class', exporting 'excellence made in Italy'.

Riello UPS and Environment
Riello UPS has a company-wide initiative to become the most environmentally friendly power protection company in Europe.
As a company, Riello UPS is a major contributor to the European Commission - Code of Conduct on Energy Efficiency and Quality of AC Uninterruptible Power Supplies - and the first European manufacturer to rate its products for ECO Energy Level effciency.
The European Commission Code of Conduct is a document signed by the major UPS manufacturers in Europe which outlines the efficiency levels to reach for specic size bands from 10-800kVA, at 100% to 25% loading. For a 200kVA UPS at full load the benchmark is 93% in full online mode.
In addition to making its products achieve the highest possible operating efficiencies, Riello UPS has also focused its research and development efforts on other aspects that impact the environment.
• Adaptive battery management to lengthen the period between battery replacement and disposal programmes and reduce the wear on other consumables such as fans and capacitors.
• Low Total Harmonic Distortion on the input side (THDi) of (3%) to reduce the impact on upstream equipment and a high input power factor (0.99).
• Adaptive 'Smart Mode' operation in which the UPS selects a mode of operation that matches the electrical characteristics of the mains power supply to the power protection performance required by the load.

Riello Ups at Matelec 2008 from 28th October to 1st November - Madrid
Once again Riello Ups will be present to welcome you to the international exhibition Matelec 2008 which will take place in Madrid (Spain) from October 28th till November 1st.

Aros at Solarexpo 2008

RIELLO UPS LEAPS ON TO THE DUCATI BYKES OF WORLD CHAMPION STONER AND MELANDRI
The logo of Riello UPS is to appear on the fairing of the new Ducati Desmosedici GP8 confirming it as Official Sponsor of the Ducati Corsi stable for the whole of the 2008 Motorcycling Championship.
